The CinePearl Take
Amitabh Bachchan delivers a powerhouse performance, balancing stoic authority with flashes of vulnerability that anchor the film’s moral core. Ramesh Behl’s direction keeps the pacing brisk, though the melodramatic subplots occasionally stall momentum. The movie’s exploration of duty versus personal loyalty feels surprisingly resonant today, and Prem Chopra’s villainous turn adds a deliciously sinister flavor.
