The CinePearl Take
The ensemble cast, led by a surprisingly magnetic performance from the teenage driver, brings a genuine sincerity that lifts the script beyond its modest ambitions. The film’s pacing swings smoothly from laugh‑out‑loud mishaps to quiet, reflective moments about friendship and ambition. At its core, “Race the Sun” is a celebration of youthful optimism and the early‑era green‑tech dream, making it feel both timely and timeless.
