Why Watch This
Romancham mixes razor‑sharp Malayalam comedy with a genuinely creepy supernatural premise, turning a simple Ouija‑board prank into a night of escalating chaos. Its low‑budget charm and relatable college‑friend dynamics keep the laughs rolling even as the tension builds.
Best For
Comedy‑horror fans, Malayalam cinema lovers, College nostalgia seekers, Fans of ensemble casts, Low‑budget thriller enthusiasts
The CinePearl Take
The film’s strength lies in its ensemble’s chemistry; the deadpan timing of the lead comedian anchors the absurdity while the supporting players feed off each other’s energy. The pacing cleverly alternates between rib‑tickling banter and sudden, atmospheric scares, preventing the horror from feeling forced. Under Jithu Madhavan’s direction, the theme of youthful curiosity turning dangerous feels both funny and oddly cautionary.
