Why Watch This

The film balances laugh‑out‑loud moments with tender reflections on family, grief, and the fleeting optimism of spring.

The CinePearl Take
Joachim Lafosse proves his knack for tonal tightrope‑walking, letting the absurdity of a busted sprinkler system echo the characters’ emotional leaks. Elise Dubois shines as the reluctant eldest sibling, delivering a performance that is both wryly sarcastic and heartbreakingly sincere. The film’s deliberate, almost tactile pacing lets each comedic beat settle before the next emotional reveal, making the eventual resolution feel earned rather than tidy.
