The CinePearl Take

Delamarre’s direction is brisk, letting the jokes land without overstaying their welcome, while the unnamed lead delivers a surprisingly nuanced performance, balancing slapstick with genuine vulnerability. The film’s pacing mirrors the protagonist’s frantic attempts to “cover up” his baldness, creating a rhythm that feels both frantic and oddly tender. Beneath the laughs, the story quietly probes how society equates hair with masculinity, making the comedy feel surprisingly resonant.
