The CinePearl Take
Director Cris D'Amato balances breezy humor with a surprisingly tender look at commitment, and the lead’s natural charisma anchors the film’s chaotic premise. The pacing is brisk, allowing the romantic set‑ups to unfold without feeling rushed, while the recurring “borrowed‑love” motif underscores the theme that true connection can’t be rented. A few supporting turns feel a touch predictable, but the overall charm makes it a delightful watch.
