The CinePearl Take
Shtubert’s patient, observational pacing lets the city’s rhythm breathe, letting viewers feel the tension between idealism and bureaucracy. Standout moments include a candid interview with lead city planner Anja Weber, whose quiet optimism anchors the film’s narrative. The documentary’s visual palette—crisp daylight contrasted with the soft glow of solar panels at dusk—reinforces its central theme: technology and humanity can coexist, but only through constant negotiation.
