Why Watch This
Superagente Makey delivers a tongue‑in‑cheek take on the spy‑genre, turning everyday Madrid streets into a playground for slapstick mishaps. Its low‑budget charm shines through in wildly inventive set pieces that feel like a love letter to 80s Euro‑comedy.
Best For
Spanish comedy fans, Cult film seekers, Low‑budget lovers, Quirky humor enthusiasts, Indie film aficionados
The CinePearl Take
Alfonso Sánchez Fernández’s direction is unapologetically breezy, letting the absurdity breathe without over‑editing. The cameo by a veteran Spanish TV presenter steals the spotlight, delivering the film’s most memorably deadpan punchline. While the pacing occasionally staggers, the relentless gag‑machine keeps the audience engaged, and the underlying satire of bureaucratic espionage adds unexpected depth.
