The CinePearl Take
Director Lee Joon‑hee balances jittery pacing with moments of genuine tension, letting the absurdity breathe without losing its spooky edge. Newcomer Kim Seo‑yeon shines as the “idiot” girl who inadvertently awakens the ghost, turning a comic foil into the film’s emotional anchor. Thematically, the movie uses the haunting as a metaphor for the lingering trauma of academic failure, making the scares feel oddly resonant.
