The CinePearl Take

Director K C Bokadia manages a delicate balance between melodrama and realism, allowing the narrative to breathe without slipping into melodramatic excess. Kainaat Arora delivers the film’s emotional core, navigating complex sisterly dynamics with nuance. Mugdha Godse and Zarina Wahab provide complementary textures, while the pacing, though deliberate, keeps the audience invested in each character’s arc. The film’s exploration of agency within traditional structures feels timely and resonant.
