The CinePearl Take

Director R. V. Menon’s debut is anchored by a magnetic performance from newcomer Arjun Nair, whose portrayal of the haunted fisherman‑turned‑vigilante feels both vulnerable and ferocious. The film’s deliberate pacing lets the tension simmer, while the recurring motif of the ever‑watchful lighthouse underscores themes of redemption and isolation. Though the narrative occasionally drifts into melodrama, the authentic dialect and immersive sound design keep the story anchored.
