The CinePearl Take
Jeremy Gardner and Adam Minarovich give quietly magnetic performances, letting their chemistry carry the film when the zombies stay off‑screen. Gardner’s direction balances the bleak landscape with moments of sardonic banter, creating a rhythm that feels both languid and unsettling. The movie’s real horror lies in the erosion of trust between the two protagonists, making the final showdown feel inevitable and heartbreaking.
