The CinePearl Take

Fyzal Boulifa crafts a moody, almost tactile atmosphere that lets the story breathe, while the lead—played by a relative newcomer—delivers a quietly ferocious performance that anchors the film’s emotional core. The deliberate pacing may test impatient viewers, but it rewards those who savor subtle character shifts. Themes of guilt, redemption, and the weight of unspoken history are explored with a sincerity that feels rare in contemporary drama.
