Why Watch This
Alex Fischman’s debut feature blends claustrophobic body‑horror with a paranoid sci‑fi premise, turning a simple skin‑irritation into a nightmarish cascade of psychological dread. The film’s relentless visual texture keeps the audience on edge from the first itchy sensation to the final, unsettling reveal.
Best For
Horror fans, Sci‑fi enthusiasts, Thriller junkies, Indie film lovers, Late‑night creeps
The CinePearl Take
Fischman crafts an atmosphere that feels both clinical and organic, letting the unsettling sound design do as much storytelling as the sparse dialogue. Lead newcomer Maya Torres delivers a raw, jittery performance that anchors the film’s escalating panic. While the pacing occasionally lingers on texture over narrative thrust, the thematic exploration of obsession and bodily autonomy pays off in a chilling climax.
