The CinePearl Take
Muayad Alayan delivers a quietly powerful directorial debut, letting the story breathe through long takes that heighten the suspense. The lead—portraying Sarah—offers a haunting performance that balances vulnerability with steely resolve, while Saleem’s understated presence anchors the film’s moral ambiguity. The deliberate pacing may test impatient viewers, but it rewards those who savor atmosphere over action, turning a simple report into a meditation on truth and love.
