The CinePearl Take
Director duo Nakache & Toledano deliver a breezy pace that never lets the jokes linger too long, keeping the energy fresh from start to finish. The standout moment comes from the dead‑pan performance of the reluctant “hero” who treats his powers like a part‑time job, grounding the absurdity in relatable insecurity. Underneath the laughs, the film gently probes themes of belonging and the pressure to be extraordinary in a world that rewards the mundane.
