The CinePearl Take

Gual’s tight, almost claustrophobic direction keeps the tension humming from start to finish, while newcomer Maya Ortega delivers a magnetic performance as the relentless lead hacker whose moral compass wavers under pressure. The pacing is relentless yet never chaotic, allowing the film’s central theme—how truth is weaponized in the digital age—to resonate without feeling preachy. Visually, the grainy “found‑footage” intercuts lend a chilling authenticity that elevates the narrative beyond typical genre fare.
