Why Watch This

Toby delivers a gritty, street‑level look at Karnataka’s underworld, powered by Basil Alchalakkal’s raw debut direction and a standout, brooding turn from Raj Deepak Shetty. The film balances high‑octane set‑pieces with an unexpectedly tender subplot between Samyukta Hornad’s fierce heroine and her conflicted past.

Best For

The CinePearl Take

Alchalakkal’s confidence behind the camera shines through in the film’s kinetic chase sequences, which never feel gratuitous. Raj Deepak Shetty commands every frame, infusing his anti‑hero with a palpable menace that elevates the script’s modest ambitions. While the pacing occasionally stutters in the middle act, the climactic showdown redeems the dip, leaving a resonant note about loyalty and redemption.
