Why Watch This
Triple Decker twists the classic heist formula into a razor‑sharp Malayalam black comedy, turning every “layer” of the plot into a satirical jab at modern bureaucracy. Director Krishnanunni Mangalath mixes frantic pacing with dead‑pan dialogue, delivering laughs that land as hard as the thriller’s twists.
Best For
Comedy thriller fans, Malayalam cinema lovers, Dark humor enthusiasts, Indie film seekers, Festival goers
The CinePearl Take
Krishnanunni Mangalath’s debut is a bold tonal juggle; the film’s relentless rhythm never lets the jokes or the suspense breathe too long, keeping viewers on edge. Though the cast remains anonymous, a standout supporting performance injects a manic energy that anchors the chaos. The script’s clever commentary on social stratification feels fresh, even if the ending veers into absurdity. Overall, it’s a daring, uneven ride that rewards those who appreciate humor with a bite.
