The CinePearl Take
Galindo’s direction injects a breezy rhythm into the film, letting the slapstick set‑pieces breathe without feeling rushed. The script leans heavily on visual gags, which land unevenly but occasionally hit with a delightful punch. While the lack of star power leaves the film feeling anonymous, its willingness to experiment with meta‑comedy makes it a curious footnote in 2020’s comedy landscape.
