Kōhei Kadowaki’s direction balances lyrical pacing with moments of stark tension, letting the narrative breathe while never losing its emotional thrust. Ryōta Bandō delivers a nuanced portrayal of a man grappling with a secret that could rewrite humanity’s history, grounding the film’s lofty premise in raw, relatable feeling.
