The CinePearl Take
Tetsuya Tomina delivers his most ambitious work yet, using long takes and muted color palettes to convey the characters' collective amnesia. The lead—an enigmatic newcomer—anchors the film with a quietly intense performance that never overstates the existential dread. While the pacing drifts deliberately, it rewards patient viewers with a crescendo of revelation that feels both unsettling and cathartic.
