The CinePearl Take

The film’s centerpiece is its lead’s unsettling chameleon‑like turn, which captures the anxiety of living behind a borrowed face. Nebbou’s pacing is deliberate, allowing the city’s muted palette to echo the protagonist’s internal fog. Themes of belonging, surveillance, and the price of anonymity are explored with a subtle, almost clinical eye, making the climax feel both inevitable and shocking.
