The CinePearl Take
Director Lim Jihwan leans into the chaos, letting the city itself become a character as the streets pulse with frantic chase scenes. While the cast is anonymous, the lead’s gritty performance anchors the film’s frantic energy. The pacing is uneven—some moments drag, but the climax erupts with enough blood‑soaked spectacle to make up for it. Ultimately, the film is a love letter to the genre’s excesses rather than a polished masterpiece.
