The CinePearl Take
Saif Ali Khan delivers a surprisingly restrained performance, grounding the film’s whimsical premise with quiet introspection. Deepika Padukone shines in her breakout role, balancing vulnerability with a modern, confident edge. While the dual‑timeline structure sometimes stalls the pacing, the thematic exploration of love’s evolving expectations keeps the narrative compelling.
