The CinePearl Take
Ridha Behi’s direction is deliberate, letting the island’s winds and tides become silent witnesses to the characters’ inner turmoil. The uncredited lead delivers a raw, understated performance that anchors the film’s emotional core. While the pacing is intentionally languid, it never feels aimless, and the recurring motif of water underscores the theme of cleansing and forgiveness.
