Why Watch This
Amar delivers a high‑octane mix of street‑level grit and larger‑than‑life heroics, anchored by Abhishek Ambareesh’s charismatic turn as a reluctant vigilante. The film’s punchy fight choreography and a soundtrack that rides the pulse of Bangalore’s underbelly make it a solid pick for adrenaline junkies.

The CinePearl Take
Nagashekar’s direction leans heavily on stylized set‑pieces, which sometimes sacrifice narrative depth for spectacle. Still, Ambareesh’s performance shines—he balances swagger with a surprisingly vulnerable side when the stakes hit home. The pacing is relentless, propelling the story forward, though the subplot romance feels tacked on. Ultimately, Amar is a showcase of raw energy that works best when you let the chaos roll.
