The film’s modest budget becomes a strength, delivering raw, authentic performances that linger long after the credits roll.

The CinePearl Take

Kamal K.M.’s direction is spare yet purposeful, allowing the landscape to become a character in its own right. The lead—though uncredited—delivers a quietly powerful performance, conveying desperation and hope with just a glance. While the pacing is deliberately slow, it rewards patience with moments of stark emotional clarity, especially in the climactic village council scene.
