The CinePearl Take

Amrish Puri steals the show with a villainous performance that feels both theatrical and terrifying, setting a perfect foil for Anil Kapoor’s earnest, underdog lawyer. The film’s pacing balances courtroom intrigue with emotional family moments, making the stakes feel personal as well as legal. Ghai’s knack for melodrama never overwhelms the narrative, allowing themes of justice and redemption to shine through.
