The CinePearl Take
Director David Brückner crafts a slow‑burn tension that never lets the audience relax, letting the tower’s echoing corridors become a character in their own right. The lead’s unsettling performance—barely a name on the credits—anchors the film’s descent into madness, delivering a raw emotional core amid the supernatural lore. While the pacing drags in places, the thematic exploration of isolation and the perils of longing feels surprisingly resonant.
