The CinePearl Take

Brad Pitt steals the show as the laid‑back stuntman Cliff Booth, delivering a performance that’s both effortlessly cool and oddly vulnerable. Leonardo DiCaprio’s portrayal of fading TV star Rick Dalton captures the era’s anxiety about relevance with a mix of bravado and self‑doubt. Tarantino’s pacing—leisurely for most of the runtime, then erupting into violent brilliance—mirrors the chaotic energy of 1969 L.A., while the film’s underlying meditation on fame and obsolescence feels surprisingly fresh.
