The CinePearl Take
Jyoti Swaroop’s direction keeps the narrative breezy, allowing each gag to land without overstaying its welcome. Kishore Kumar’s turn as the mischievous Master Pillai is a masterclass in comic delivery, while Mehmood’s side‑kick antics add an extra layer of chaos. The film’s soundtrack, courtesy of R.D. Burman, not only propels the story but also becomes a character in its own right, reinforcing the playful tone throughout.
