The CinePearl Take

Director Paritosh Painter leans into a loose, episodic structure that mirrors the way rumors spread in a tight‑knit town, keeping the pacing breezy yet purposeful. The film’s lone standout is the supporting cast’s improvisational chemistry, especially the elderly shopkeeper whose deadpan delivery steals every scene he’s in. While the narrative sometimes meanders, the underlying commentary on how quickly ordinary lives can be upended feels both timely and timeless.
