Baaghi captures the raw, unfiltered energy of early‑90s Bollywood action, complete with over‑the‑top stunts, punch‑driven dialogues, and a young Salman Khan flexing his emerging screen charisma.
Best For
Action fans, 90s Bollywood lovers, Salman Khan fans, Nostalgic viewers, Masala movie enthusiasts
The CinePearl Take
Director Deepak Shivdasani delivers a relentless, if uneven, ride that leans heavily on the chemistry between Nagma and Salman Khan. Shakti Kapoor’s flamboyant villainy adds a comic punch, while the film’s pacing spikes during the chase sequences but drags in the melodramatic interludes. The core theme of a lone cop defying the system still feels oddly resonant, even as the film’s dated aesthetics remind us why it’s a cult‑class relic.
