The CinePearl Take

Steinfeld’s raw, magnetic energy carries the film, while Woody Harrelson provides a grounded counterpoint as the well‑meaning but clueless dad. Craig’s direction balances laugh‑out‑loud moments with genuine emotional beats, never letting the narrative feel saccharine. The pacing mirrors the protagonist’s frantic mind, making the climax feel both inevitable and cathartic.
