The CinePearl Take
The lead—played by a relative newcomer—infuses the protagonist with a fierce vulnerability that anchors the film’s emotional core. Director Alex Rivera keeps the pacing brisk, letting the training montages breathe while the personal drama never loses momentum. At its heart, It’s My Time is a meditation on self‑belief versus external expectations, and it lands its message without ever feeling preachy.
