The CinePearl Take
Shraddha Srinath delivers a magnetic performance as the determined journalist, grounding the film’s escalating paranoia with palpable intensity. Kumar’s deliberate pacing lets the rural setting breathe, while each new clue ratchets up tension without resorting to cheap scares. The movie’s underlying critique of environmental neglect and collective guilt adds a thoughtful layer to its genre thrills, making the climax feel earned rather than contrived.
