The CinePearl Take
The film’s relentless pacing never lets you breathe, but it’s the unsettling performance of the titular “Doll”—a silent, augmented assassin—that anchors the chaos. Oku’s direction leans into claustrophobic framing, amplifying the sense of a dystopian underground arena. While the plot is thin, the visual flair and thematic bite about identity and control make it a memorable, if brief, experience.
