Why Watch This

Jillian Bell’s manic energy drives a wildly off‑beat tale of a coffee‑shop clerk who launches an underground “drop” service for strangers’ secrets, spiraling into darkly comic chaos. The film balances absurd set‑pieces with a surprisingly tender look at how we all crave connection.

Best For

Black comedy fans, Indie lovers, Quirky humor seekers, Female‑led comedies, Offbeat narratives, Late‑night binge‑watchers

The CinePearl Take

Sarah Adina Smith’s direction keeps the pacing brisk, letting each bizarre scenario land before the humor turns stale. Bell’s performance is the film’s anchor—her blend of vulnerability and over‑the‑top antics makes Lexi both relatable and hilariously unhinged. Supporting turns from Jermaine Fowler and Aparna Nancherla add texture, while the script’s commentary on modern loneliness feels oddly resonant beneath the jokes.
