Why Watch This
Burnt blends biting humor with heartfelt drama, offering a behind‑the‑scenes look at the high‑pressure world of fine dining. The chemistry between Henry Goodman’s world‑weary chef and Gideon Emery’s ambitious sous‑chef keeps the story both tense and oddly funny.
Best For

The CinePearl Take
Goodman delivers a quietly devastating performance as a burnt‑out culinary legend, his dry delivery grounding the film’s more slapstick moments. Emery shines as the eager understudy, providing a sharp counterpoint that fuels the film’s central tension. While the pacing drifts during the quieter kitchen interludes, the climactic service sequence sizzles with energy, underscoring the theme that redemption often comes with a side of burnt ambition.
