The CinePearl Take
Marta Díaz de Lope Díaz directs with a quiet confidence, letting the streets of Villa Lugano become a character in themselves. The standout performance comes from a non‑professional 12‑year‑old, whose natural charisma anchors the ensemble. While the pacing drifts in the second act, the film’s thematic focus on play as resistance stays compelling, making the climax feel earned.
