The CinePearl Take
Chella Ayyavu steers the film with a deft mix of humor and pathos, allowing the story to unfold at a pace that mirrors the cadence of a wrestling bout. Sanchana Natrajan shines as Gauri, delivering a nuanced performance that captures both vulnerability and fierce resolve. Kalaiyarasan provides a solid, empathetic counterpart, grounding the narrative while the film’s thematic focus on identity and acceptance resonates long after the credits roll.
