The CinePearl Take
Director Chris Gabriel leans into the chaos of war‑torn combat to amplify the undead threat, and the film’s pacing never lets up, keeping viewers on edge. While the cast is largely unknown, the lead’s desperate performance—gripping a battered rifle while navigating the blood‑splattered corridors—grounds the madness in genuine fear. Thematically, the movie explores how the horrors of battle can mirror a zombie outbreak, making the gore feel oddly symbolic.
