The CinePearl Take
Ranveer Singh delivers his most kinetic turn yet, channeling the grit of a self‑made rapper while never losing emotional nuance. Zoya Akhtar’s direction balances vibrant musical set‑pieces with a grounded look at class tension, keeping the narrative brisk without sacrificing depth. Alia Bhatt provides a steady, understated counterpoint, and the film’s kinetic editing mirrors the beat‑driven world it portrays.
