Shinomiya’s direction shines in the opening sequence, where sweeping cityscapes dissolve into intimate character moments, establishing both grandeur and personal stakes. Though the middle act drifts, the climactic finale delivers a cathartic payoff that reinforces the film’s central theme of renewal. The soundtrack’s blend of traditional strings and electronic beats amplifies the emotional resonance throughout.
