The CinePearl Take

Ford’s steely charisma anchors the chaos, making the president feel both vulnerable and unstoppable. Petersen’s direction keeps the pacing razor‑sharp, with each cockpit‑to‑cabin showdown escalating the tension. The film’s patriotism feels earnest rather than jingoistic, though the occasional dialogue‑heavy exposition can slow the momentum. Overall, it remains a masterclass in high‑altitude suspense.
