Best For

Thriller fans, Domestic suspense lovers, Paul Feig fans, Strong female lead enthusiasts, Moodier nights, Class‑conflict watchers

The CinePearl Take

Feig’s direction is surprisingly disciplined, letting the house itself become a character that closes in on the audience. Perkins’ icy stare and subtle gestures make the housemaid both victim and threat, while Seyfried’s nervous energy adds a frantic counterpoint. The pacing is deliberately uneven, ratcheting up dread in the middle act before unleashing a frantic climax that feels earned.
