The CinePearl Take
Lead newcomer Rohan Mehta shines as a restless chef trying to fuse traditional misal with modern London tastes, anchoring the film with earnest humor. The pacing balances bustling market scenes with quieter moments of introspection, allowing the theme of belonging to breathe. While the narrative occasionally leans on familiar tropes, the vibrant cinematography and soundtrack elevate the story into a heartfelt celebration of hybridity.
