The CinePearl Take
Shankar’s direction is unapologetically bold, using kinetic camera work to mirror the protagonist’s inner turmoil. Haasan’s performance is a masterclass in restrained intensity, turning every silent stare into a weapon. Manisha Koirala provides a grounded counterpoint, and the film’s pacing never lets the tension dissolve, making its commentary on systemic corruption feel both urgent and personal.
