Why Watch This

It mixes the absurdity of a zombie outbreak with the tender messiness of a single‑parent family, delivering laughs that feel earned rather than forced. The film leans on its manhwa roots to create visual gags that double as commentary on teenage identity.

Best For

The CinePearl Take

Pil Gam‑seong balances slapstick and sentiment with a surprisingly measured pace, allowing the story’s emotional beats to land. The young protagonist—played with a blend of deadpan humor and genuine vulnerability—anchors the film’s heart. While the zombie set‑pieces are deliberately low‑budget, they serve the larger theme of embracing the “other” in a family context. The result is a comedy‑drama that feels both fresh and oddly familiar.
